DJ&A Veggie Crisps (90 gs)

This pack of DJ&A crisps is ideal for newcomers, as includes a pot-pourri of the different varieties of DJ&A snacks, so you can decide which ones you really like and which ones don't and then purchase individual packs of those you prefer. Lovely overall. Just pricey for the quantity.

I gave this DJ&A of shiitake Mushroom Crisps a try. Not as good as the other one, it has a big punch of chilli that might not be everyone's cup of tea. Personally, I found that the chilli was unevenly sprinkled, so some mushrooms were extremely hot and I didn't like them, while others medium hot or mid hot, and I liked them. They are still good but I prefer the unflavoured variety. This is a healthy snack but, mind, it has sugar in it, something to be aware if you're diabetic.

KMART Anko Wet & Dry Hand Vacuum

I bought this after a friend's recommendation. I bought it and, since then, has become a must in my home office, and I use it all the time.

Capacity if about 700 ml, so I use it in small spaces. Mostly around and underneath my desk and working area. I also use it to clean skirt-boards, tiny corners in my bathroom and bedroom. Basically, I use it for anything that I want to clean without having to take out my normal vacuum, which is always a hassle. The amount of water it takes is 120 mls, but I have never used over wet surfaces or to suck liquids. However, my friend uses it with her cat, who is sometimes incontinent, and she says it does the job.

Emptying and cleaning this vacuum is easy, but you'll have to get used to the way the upper body rotates on the lower one.

This vacuum takes a while to charge fully the first time. The instructions say six hours, but I would say it's less than that. It definitely takes less time if the power light is on red and charge it to be green. I have never used this vacuum for more than 10 minutes, so I cannot say how long the battery lasts straight on from fully charged. However, I think this was never designed to replace a normal vacuum or to vacuum the whole house.

The main downsides of this mini vacuum are the noise level, which could definitely be improved, and the retractable tongue, which sometimes looses itself out.

Listen, this might not be the best hand vacuum out there, but it is still great for the price and sucks tons of stuff, from tiny pieces of paper, hair, dust, food crumbs and chunky dirt.

SKÅDIS Hanging Hook (White)

These Skadis protruding hooks are terrific to hang anything you can imagine. They can be repositioned easily but stay securely inside the pegboard slots. They're light but strong. So many uses I've given to these to hang scissors, small torches, some art supplies, some painting tubes (those that have a hole at the base for example), keys, utensils and much more. Good quality but pricey.

In the past I've bought similar plastic (polyethylene) tablecloths that lasted me only a few days before broke and torn, and they turned to to be a waste of plastic and money. However, I've had this one on my desk table for months, and is still in decent state despite several spills and using it daily to paint. It has a sturdy but light plastic matte top side and a soft flannel lining that acts a barrier. So it turns out that the 'reusable and heavy duty" adjectives are more than a promise. The cover is really large so it can adjusted to most tables out there without a problem. I especially like the black matte version. Amazing for just three bucks.

This is the cheapest gasket that I could find to replace the old one that my Thermos large food jar lid had. I'm always weary from something sold by the tens as I tend to think that they might be bad quality. However, this is not the case.

The gasket looks way smaller than my large jar seal so, on sight, I thought I would have to return the packet. However, the gasket fits my jar lid perfectly. Perhaps because I have small hands, I found it difficult to position it inside as it requires of some strength to stretch the gasket to then let it fall inside. The gasket stays tightly in without getting out despite the fact that I wash the jar and lid every day. This gasket is designed to match the Thermos Stainless King Food Jar, which is slightly different from my old food jar model, yet it fits it greatly. Great price, but I wish this sort of spare part was sold by the unit or the pair because, unless you have a large family, this packet has more gaskets than I need and it's a waste of product.

Another beautiful healthy snack by DJ&A. The Teriyaki flavour really masks the pea-ness of the product. It tastes great but isn't as crunchy as other veggie snack varieties. It's also denser and more filling than other snacks, so I don't tend to eat a bag in a go. Good to carry around for moments of total hunger while commuting or travelling. The product is mostly made of peas (76%) and has a high content of protein. It has sugar an it's rich in carbohydrates, so consume in moderation if you're a diabetic.Perfectly sealed and fresh and perfumed when the product comes out of it.

This container is a great addition for any pegboard. I's great as a pen or crayon holder as it stays in place safely thanks to the well-designed back hooks. It holds tons of stuff and vertically, away from my table, and I can use it with markers, pens, pencils, crayons (these would stain the inside a bit) among other things. Great quality plastic.

KMART 3 Drawer Chest (Grey)

This chest of drawers is not only cheap, but also sturdy, spacious and good looking. It's also very easy to assemble.

I have two of these in my home office and they perfectly fit with my office's Skandi style. The frame is made of metal, the top is bamboo and the collapsible drawers are fabric-like.

I had hesitations to buy this item due to the fact that the drawers are soft and I thought they would not be spacious or strong enough. However, they are! I have tons of stuff in them. The maker advises a maximum of 3 Kilos per drawer but I have two of them holding more than that. However, I put the heavier on the bottom shelf as this acts as grounding for the the whole unit and prevents the chest toppling over.

The top shelf can hold up to 20 Kilos, so I have a heavy-ish letter tray organiser on one of my units. Kmart doesn't recommend putting a TV on this chest, firstly because this unit was not made to place a TV, and secondly because the unit can be easily moved if not fully loaded.

The maker recommends having this chest wall secured, but I cannot do that in the rental I live in. Yet, the chest is very stable and, despite using it all the time, having it full of stuff, opening and closing the drawers all the time, has never toppled. Yet, I can move it easily. If you have children, secure it to the wall with the including fittings as, when empty, the whole unit weighs less than 5 kilos and can be easily moved or fall.

Although I use this chest for office purposes, due to its good looks and large capacity, can be used in different rooms as I could easily fill it with linen, towels, shoes, toys, table linen, travelling light gear, and so on.

My main disappointment with this unit is that the drawer handle inner side tends to deform and bend outward, making it look cheap (well, it shows it's cheap when this happens). There are no replacements for these collapsible drawers, so, if one breaks, you will have to buy a new unit, which is a bit ridiculous.

I've had this chest for several years and it's still a star seller at Kmart. Despite the heavy use I give it, it is in great condition and still looking good.

RISATORP Basket With Compartments (33x24x11 cm)

This is another Risatorp beauty. I super love this range due to its quality, classy Skandi timeless but modern design, and versatility. This compartment basket is not only beautiful, but has myriad uses. It makes a great office caddy, kitchen or crafts caddy. Currently, I use it as a bathroom caddy to have at hand my most used items of cosmetics, makeup, perfume and toiletries. Its low height makes it perfect for storage in drawers and small cabinets.

Super easy to assemble.

Not fit for outdoor use.

These clips are almost flat and hook into any Skadis pegboard easily. I don't find them as useful as other hooks and Skadis accessories as these are designed mostly to hold paper. That being the case aren't as versatile, or at least to me, as other hugs and clips. However, they are still great to have important pieces of paper on display: bills to pay, or photos, or leaflets for an event, or your own painting or drawing, inspiration images for your inspiration board, postcards received, and so on.

I've had two of these in different sizes for years. They are perfect for everything and anything. Although they can be used to serve snacks, salads, or diced fruit, for example, I mostly use them during cooking preparation and to prepare marinades. The quality is excellent, and they are unbreakable due to being made out of a single stainless-steel curved piece with no edges. I'd dare to say that these last a life time. They lose their bright patina over time, but they will still look great and almost as new. Easy to clean and stackable. Dishwasher safe.

This is a paste used as a base to prepare the typical Malaysian dish Mee Udang, which is a prawn and/or meat and veggies soup. The main flavouring ingredients are soy bean oil, dried shrimp paste, galangal, chilly and garlic among others.

This is a simple but flavour-packed fast dish. The soup is wonderful on its own without any add-on. However, if you prepare the full dish, you'll get a kind of instant noodles dish mostly made out of fresh ingredients. I think it is also great to use with leftover cooked meat.

It tastes authentic to me. It has a clean fishy flavour with the galangal adding the counterbalancing citrusy astringent flavour and the garlic and chilly the spicy punch. I didn't find this hot at all, not even medium hot. On the other hand this paste is really oily,, and it is soya bean oil, so nothing for people with delicate stomachs. You can remove a bit of it with a spoon when resting though.

Preparation: Bring 1.5 litres of water to boil and add the whole paste packet in. Stir and let it boil for about ten minutes. On the side add to a bowl your precooked instant noodles, cooked prawn and/or meat, some veggies. Pour the soup into the bowl and voila.

Great value for money and the sachet does not need refrigeration

VATTENKAR Desk Organiser (White, 33x21x43 cm)

I really love this organiser. Organisers of this sort are a wonderful replacement for renters who might not be able to use a wall pegboard but want something similar but portable. So easy to carry around the different rooms of the house, or to put in the car and take it away.

The Vattenkar is a multifunctional organiser that perfectly works as work caddy, and as craft or sewing station. The central pegboard is great as I can use different Skadis accessories and hooks to create different storage layouts. I like the caddy's two sides as I can put the prettier side facing the viewer and the back side with the uglier storage items facing the wall. I haven't used the elastic band yet as I devoted this to crafts not to books or my laptop.

This organiser is easy to assemble as it has just a few pieces that click in together; the instructions leaflet is also easy to follow. I had this in my wish list for a long time because, despite the measurements being clear n the product page, I wasn't sure how much space or how much space would occupy. Having had this for a while now, that the item is a bit bulky and heavy even when empty. Not a beautiful looking storage solution, but a very practical one; and you wouldn't believe how much stuff I can fit in.

This pair is such a bargain. These are all-purpose stainless steel and plastic scissors.The larger white pair is my favourite as they are large enough and cut well most things I've used them them with. The small pair blades aren't sharp enough, so they are good for children and crafts. Diswashing safe.

DESIGNER Sarah Fager

These square baskets are cut and have a wonderful clean design. They look like part of the Risatorp line due to its mix of white epoxied mesh and bamboo lids. I love the way they look, that they can be stacked, and that the lid seals the container perfectly. aled. Handwash only, of course. You cannot put anything liquid in it and I personally would not store food in them. Wiping them with a damp cloth is enough. Every single IKEA 365+ product storage that I bought about 10 years ago, I still have it in good conditions. So I expect the same from these mini baskets.

DESIGNER Unknown

I don't think this is the best sink container if you want to store tons of stuff or want to hang it steadily from the wall. However, it is perfect for the small space beside my sink, on the deck but stuck to the tiled floor. It tidily stores all my scourers and sponges. I found a bit difficult inserting the suction pads in the purpose-made holes bit too difficult and not that good design.

I'm disappointed with this Kale Chips. I often prepare kale chips in my air-fryer; I just clean the leaves, remove the stalks and leaf nerves, add olive oil and voila. This variety is not only pricey for the quantity but it doesn't taste good to me. It has a raw-ish flavour that I don't like plus all the leaf nerves were never removed, something that I don't find this enjoyable to eat. This chips are very crunchy and light, but the taste and texture is a miss for me and I won't buy them again.

This is one of my favourite DJ&A healthy snack varieties. I cannot tell loud enough how good this tastes. It is full roasted and wonderfully seasoned full mushrooms. Crunchy. Satisfying. Filling. One of those bags that you cannot put down till the last bit is in your belly. It is also a great satisfying snack to have in your bag on long commutes because it curves your hanger.

This is the most innovative healthy snack that I've come across in a long time. Yes, it is mostly roasted garlic with seasoning and spices. This is a very crunchy snack that, despite being mostly garlic, does taste good. It is not raw garlic you know. To me this is not a snack bag that I munch on from opening till the last bit is eaten. It is for me to pick 3-4 cloves and that's it. It makes a great add-on in snack mixes. I will try to use them in cooking to see how they perform.

DJ & A Green Bean Crisps (30g)

After discovering this range of healthy snacks I decided to try this variety. Beforehand, was the least J&A snack in my list. I love green beans but I thought this might taste a bit odd if the taste was true to the green beans. Indeed, these crisps taste a bit odd, but in a good way. Unusual is the word. They are still crunchy and taste good overall. A bit pricey for the quantity.

RoseFlower 6-colour Waterproof Mascara Gift Set

Fabulous set of colourful mascaras. I was fearing they would arrive dry (as some reviewers have complained of that) or be unnoticeable or bad quality. However, I'm happy to report that they are as beautiful as in the photos, they last all day, dry quickly, are waterproof, tear proof, and look fabulous on. Depending on your eye colour and/or glasses colour, some of these mascaras would be more flattering than the others. The brush is small and allows me to apply the product cleanly and cover even the smallest lash. I get a clean polished look with no lumps. The quantity of product on each mascara is small, but just one coat is enough for everyday purposes. I love the fact that the container is translucent and I can see how much there is left inside. Perfect economic gift set and the mascaras will get you some compliments, guaranteed. I even wear them for work.

DJ & A Crispy Broccoli Florets (45 g)

I bought these for the same reason I buy anything new that comes out to the market, to try it. In all honesty, I was not expecting much broccoli in the bag. Instead I was surprised with a vegan natural product that has mostly broccoli in it. It tastes delicious and is super-crunchy. The additives are minimal and all natural. I will be buying them again.

BLOMNING Coffee & Tea Tin (11x7x20 cm)

This tin box is really beautiful, classy and elegant. It looks expensive. It's meant to be used for tea and coffee storage, but I give mine different uses: crafts storage, sugar storage, tea bags storage, fabric scraps storage. Whatever small I need to store. This box is stackable and is complemented by a shorter version that can be put on. Hand-wash only.

Couriers Please Australia

I had an order sent in two parcels by a major retailer, which was dispatched and delivered via Couriers Please. I buy online because I work FT and don't have a car. I expect any parcel to be left at my door. Is that too much to ask for? I get that some drivers might not be used to the area, they might get confused with the numbers, or they might be running like mad due to the pressure of the metrics they have. We all make mistakes. The problem is how you respond to your mistakes.

I received notification of one of the parcels being delivered at my place at the end of the day. When I got home, the parcel was not there. I checked the units in my alley (5), the alley before mine (5) and the alley after mine (5). No parcel at anyone's door. I could not call Customer Service because they don't have a phone number and their CS chat was not operational at the time I got home in the evening or at the time I left for work the next day. As recommended by their website, I put a ticket through the chatbot mentioning that I had checked the surrounding area and that the parcel had been left elsewhere. Two days later they answered my ticket stating, matter of fact, "Our tracking system shows your parcel XXX was delivered to the correct address." They attach a photo of the door, and that's not my door. None in my alley or the ones I checked. What sort of customer service is this? Where or how are these people trained? What do they think that the photo is that of my door? Why do they think that I haven't checked my surrounding area when in fact mentioned this in the ticket? They left the parcel at the wrong address, 100%, and this was none of the units I visited on the day. A good decent neighbour brought the parcel to my door the following arvo. CS' response is just bad. They can easily check that item one was left at a door (they have the photo) and item 2 of the order was left at another door (they have the photo); the second door is mine the first one is different ant not mine. It really annoyed me that they think that I cannot identify my door and that my door is that of the photo. Even Google Maps has my alley clearly identified. Perhaps the company should hire more drivers, put less pressure on the delivery guys and invest some good money on customer service, because, as it stands, it's quite poor. And their tracking system, obviously, failed in the worst possible epic way.

SKÅDIS Round Hook (19 mm)

I had read so many negative reviews about these hooks that I hesitated to buy them. The main complaint from customers was that they're really difficult to insert and that they can damage the pegboard. Well, after getting them, I found them to have a child-like sort of insertion system. I wonder why schools don't teach puzzles and basic mechanical stuff to children so that they can become functional adults. Breaking the board with these is so difficult, like you have to have your wires all messed-up and the strength of a bear to insert them in the wrong way. They come with a little handy leaflet that explains how to insert them. But the design is so intuitive that you don't really need instructions... unless you do.

These are my favourite hooks for the Skadis pegboards to be honest. Easy to insert, easy to reposition, and they hold plenty of different things and they occupy just one hold on the board, not two or three as other hooks do. They are strong, too, I love them to store my washi tape rolls, but I can hang so many things from them, like scissors, laces, anything and everything.

UPPFYLLD Lemon Squeezer (bright yellow/bright green, 15 cm)

This lemon squeezer is really a great fun design as well as the whole Uppfylld line. It adds a pop of colour in the kitchen. Most importantly, his is a great squeezer that I can use directly on all the drinking glasses I own. I love the gridded inverted lid at the bottom because it collects the disgusting pipes securely. This lid can be removed, cleaned and put back easily.

The main downsides are, firstly, that I can get tired of so much colour; in all honestly, I'd love having this made of stainless steel. Secondly, this is a large squeezer that requires a bit of storage space as it's larger than the average squeezer.

Dishwasher safe.

I have all my home office storage sorted out with KIKI K storage boxes, which are made of sturdy hard carboard covered in linen. Unfortunately, they don't make them any more. It's impossible for me not to compare the quality and craftsmanship of these with this TJOG box. This Ikea storage box looks beautiful, classic and elegant. It comes flat but it's really easy to assemble. However, the cardboard is not sturdy or stiff enough to me. I couldn't find the maximum storage weight allowed on the product web page. I have put a bit of weight on the two I have, but the heaver is on the bottom. The other one I filled mostly with paper that doesn't weight much.

DESIGNER Ikea of Sweden

These containers are designed specifically for Ikea Skadis pegboard system. They look beautiful, are made of good quality plastic, so much so that the translucent container looks like glass. These are a bit tricky to use because their hanging and opening system is not the best. Unlike the other hanging container, which is perfect, this one's hanging hooks aren't on the container but on the lid. Besides, you have to get used to sliding the container into the lid, not the other way around. It doesn't make sense to me because, this way, it's ease to drop the bottom and its contents or, otherwise, as I do, you need to be super conscious of how you open and close the container. Personally, I would not use it with condiments or spices.

SNÖSKYFFEL Shoehorn (Bright Red, 18 cm)

This shoehorn just looks stylish and designer-like. It looks like a beautiful decorative item but it's a very practical tool that I use most days to help me put in my tighter shoes. This is a large shoehorn made of a metallic sturdy material. The product came fully covered on no-peel Ikea labelling, something I found utterly annoying. It left plenty of residual sticky paper on the shoehorn so I had to use oil to partially remove these sticky bits, and then I had to scrub it strongly. I got it all clean with no scratch on deterioration of the coating. Great quality.

Seymour's Stainless Steel Pegs (20 Pack)

I've had these pegs for a couple of months now with other brands similar metallic pegs. I got tired of plastic pegs that break too easily and was looking for something environmentally friendly and durable. Being stainless steel it's important because they are meant to be more durable and rust-free. I never leave my pegs outside (whether plastic or not) unless I'm hanging my laundry and then put them bag indoors. If it starts to rain I put my clothes horse indoors. That being the case, my pegs are looking as they were when first came out of the box. I find disappointing the many reviews about the pegs becoming rusty because, because if that happens, they are just steel not 'stainless' steel. So, I will be careful not to leave my laundry outdoors even if there is the slight amount of rain falling.

This scissors are great value for money. They aren't professional scissors but I couldn't expect that for the price. They are still very good. I sometimes trim my hair ends on my own, and the household scissors I was using were not really good. Instead, this pair cuts my hair straight, cleanly and easily, with minimum effort, in a go. These scissors tips aren't too pointy, but the blades are sharp and do the job. I have small hands and found this pair comfortable to use; not too big, not too small. The complementary comb comes really handy.

I came across this curry paste when I was looking for something else on Amazon and it popped up under the "you might also be interested in" list. I love Malaysian cuisine and Rendang dishes. I bought this not expecting much and based purely on price and my liking of anything Rendang. It turned out to be great. It really tastes of the Rendang dishes that I get from popular Malaysian food restaurants in Oz. The sachet is a concentrated sauce that needs of water and coconut milk, plus dessicated toasted coconut at the end. The quantity of sauce in the sachet is meant to be used with 1.5 Ks of meat, but I used about 700 grams, so it turned out more liquid than it should be. However, the taste was phenomenal, no acidity or chemical taste, and it was a mild hot dish for me. I used it with chicken and added a chopped fresh onion, some Asian veggies and dessicated natural coconut (not toasted), and really enhanced the dish. I found the flavour medium hot. The main downside of the product is the added glutamate. Cooking instructions are on Malay and English on the packet back. This is a value for money packet, and great quality.

I cannot stress enough how good this variety tastes. It's like Fanta minus the sugar (great for diabetics). Flavour is important to me because that's what keeps me going with any drinkable supplement or not. I know this isn't the most economic Metamucil version, but it's the best for my needs. Having this individual sachets means that the product does not get rancid or loses any of its properties. Also, I can carry a sachet in my purse if I decide to take this during the day not in the morning. The most important thing is it adds fibre to my diet in periods where I tend to eat less greens and salads, or when my diet changes because, for example, I'm travelling and eating naughty stuff.

Benss AM/FM/SW Portable Pocket Battery-Operated Radio

This is a pocket-size traditional stereo radio, powered by two AA batteries, something that comes handy to carry around without the pressure of carrying cables and chargers. It's also good to have it at hand during power outages and emergency situations.

This radio looks great, is lightweight and has a handy wrist band. It can be easily fit inside a handbag or a large pocket. The radio has AM, FM and SW capabilities. I found the scan button fantastic as it scans the waves on its own and stores the stronger stations automatically. I was looking forward to having SW to rich international stations at night but, so far, no luck; perhaps due to the fact that I live in a big city and in a very urban area.

The sound quality is very good and the antenna is really helpful because reception changes at times and so does the sound quality, so moving the antenna fixes the issue.

This radio has extra features that I haven't used yet like the alarm and the sleep timer.

L'Oreal cosmetics are a bit pricey, but I bought this one heavily discounted. Why opted for this variety? Honestly, because of the discount. This is a great day moisturiser. Unlike other L'Oreal creams, it doesn't have colouring in it, something that I appreciate. It absorbs well and leaves my skin supple and fresh, and I don't get any irritation or itchiness after application. Personally, I don't belief the claims of any brand or cream that have not been tested clinically, so I cannot comment on whether the calcium added to this cream is making my face less wrinkled because, at face value (pun intended), looks as wrinkled as before. Perhaps this is more noticeable by looking through a microscope or over a long period of time? I would say, based on my own experience, that this cream is goo for everyone who is over 35. I don't particularly like the scent, but it isn't bad either. Yet, I like the cream and I would buy it again.

This is an excellent emergency and travelling torch; easy to carry and store. This is a small plastic flash light. It's easily powered by dynamo (hand crank) or by the small solar panel embedded in it. Just using the dynamo for a couple of minutes gives me enough light to see around. I don't know how long would the battery last once it is fully charged. The carabineer is great to hang the torch from any place or to attach it to a backpack securely.

Having said that, the torch is very small and the strength and light projection range are limited and weak. That's a pity. I wish they made this in a larger sturdier and more light capacity version.

This is a really cute vertical pencil case made of super-soft silicone. The design is really whimsical and the case feels expensive. It's well made and well finished (from the printing details, to the zip, to the inner erasers holder, to the opener chain detail). I wanted this covered case to put some pointy tools inside, like small palette knives, metallic clay tools, dot makers and so on. It can hold quite a big of stuff and protects my fingers from getting hurt as it would happen if I left some of the tools I put inside in the open. Good value for money and this model is way cheaper than other silicone animal pencil holders. The only let-down is the smell of the silicone; although not strong, it's a bit odd. No fancy packaging but I wasn't expecting that for the price.

I was hesitant to buy this Ibumie Penang variety due to the bad reviews. I bought it nevertheless and I don't agree with those. This is a great variety of instant noodles. Of course, I cannot compare it to the Penang white curry variety because this is not a curry and it's more like a clean soup. The pepper flavour is delicate but noticeable and I didn't found it overwhelming. I added some Chinese fried shallots and a bit of chicken slices and it was a very clean but savoury soup. Not acidity or strong chemical flavour.

Nature's Way Restore 30 Billion Probiotic 30 Capsules

I've used this brand of probiotics before, the regular version, for years, on an off, depending on my needs. I used as a preventive sort of supplement and to keep a healthy intestinal flora. I never tried this concentrated version till now due to some medication affecting my digestion and regularity. I saw results in a day, noticeable results in three days and my body was working like a clock after a week. This is a relatively simple probiotic, in the sense that it has just 4 probiotic strains but in high dose. It worked for me, probably because I have healthy eating habits and general good health. I'm happy that I got the relief I needed and didn't have to pay for the way more expensive 15-strain varieties, because just these four were sufficient. The tablets don't need of refrigeration, so I can keep them in my pantry ,or on my desk or wherever I want to without worry of them getting off.

I bought this pack to spread through bedroom drawers and bed linen storage containers. I've used a similar product in the past and I was satisfied with the balls. I find cedar balls aesthetically pleasing, environmentally friendly and they do the job. However, this set had barely no lavender scent when I opened the box. For the rest, what makes cedar balls successful against scrawlers is their natural cedar scent and oils; yet, the scent was barely there for me. Perhaps the fact that I cannot smell anything doesn't mean anything, and they work the same? In short, I hope they do the job, but not sure if they will.

This is a small set of grid black & white (off-white I'd say) washi tape rolls. I love the simple patterns because they are excellent to use in tag art and mixed media projects due to their simple design. They go well with everything and they make great accents. The rolls in this set are small in diameter and only have 5 metres of tape each, which is more than enough for me. I have other gridded tapes, and these ones are lower in quality, but nothing to complain about because the product is sold as a basic set and costs little.

This is another beauty from the Jacquard Lumière collection. The silver colour and brilliance are there because the paint has both metallic and pearlescent pigments. This paint is medium to light body (viscosity) and is not fully opaque, so I need two or three coats if I want to cover something completely. Sometimes, I use a primer coat of matte grey and then apply this metallic silver. The end result is a natural-looking beautiful silver. The brand sells this paint as lightfast and waterproof and those are big hits with me. I prefer heavy body to light body (fluid) acrylics, especially for metallic colours but this one is just beautiful.

Derwent Inktense Blocks are professional-quality highly-pigmented water soluble blocks that can be used as watercolours or as mixed media crayons. This package contains a great mix of vibrant and neutral colours that are perfect for my needs.

I love the tin box quality and design, which is great to keep the blocks safe and neatly stored. If I remove the inner holders, I can use it for other purposes. I love the "crevasses" on the sides, which are perfect for broken or half pieces.

Having used the Derwent XL blocks and XL coloured graphite blocks I can honestly say that I prefer the two first to the Inktense Blocks. However, I love the quality of the bright lines and accents I can get with these blocks especially when I don't mix them with other products, as they're vibrant and make any piece standout. They're very bold as watercolours.

Are the Derwent Inktense blocks/pencils lightfast? According to the company, "87% of the range is lightfast, however, once water is added, lightfastness ratings will be different depending on how much each colour is diluted." They also state that these blocks are made using different binders and wax blends, which affects the lightfastness of each colour. As mentioned in other cases for similar products, you need to use a medium to seal the colour if you intend to work with liquid media after using these blocks. The same can be said if you use them on you painting top layer. Furthermore, once the piece is finished, you can protect it by using an UV protection varnish and, of course, by keeping the artwork out of direct sunlight.

If I had to buy them now, knowing as I know, I would buy the Inktense pencils, which will have the same quality pigment but are better for me. So, in short I like these ones but I don't love them.

MIND

The blocks are quite thin and break easily while exerting a bit of pressure. Handle with care.

I paid little for these three acrylic gel markers. I was not hopping much from them because they're from a brand that I don't know and there were no reviews when I purchased them. Glad that I had no expectations because these markers are just OK.

The first issue is that it takes a while for the ink to come out. When it does, it's really fine and clean. However, the ink doesn't always flow effortlessly, especially when working on mixed media, so that's the biggest let-down.

The second issue is that these markers are sold as waterproof and they aren't. Just today, I painted some lines on dry acrylic paint. Then, I came with a damp tissue and the marker lines went off easily. I'd say they're OK for school and crafts purposes, but you would need a sealer of you want them to be waterproof. .

The writing on the exterior gets off easily as well, but this doesn't bother me.
