VATTENKRASSE Plant Mister (35 cl)

I couldn't resist this vintage-looking mister. I have several plastic plant misters, but I bought this mostly for decoration purposes. I have it indoors as part of my indoors artificial garden and looks fabulous. I've used it to water some plants and the mist that it produces is just OK, not the finest out there.  

Many reviews mention that the mister doesn't work perfectly and that the nozzle breaks easily or stops working soon, but I use this mostly as decoration so I haven't experienced this.

TRÖSKNING Bin with Lid (Light grey-blue) (25 L)

These bins are quite large, very good looking and stackable. They're made of sturdy plastic material and hold lots of weight. I have three of these vertically stored and they're a space saver. I love this colour as well.

They were designed as recycle bins for dry waste (paper, cans, glass, metal, etc.) but they're great for storage as well. The lid is easy to put in and out, and the bin has two inbuilt handles that makes easy to carry. It also has a large opening, covered by a flap cover, which makes them ideal for recycling. In the past, I've used them to store shoes and Xmas decorations. At this stage, though, I'm using them as temporary storage bins, to put some of my art supplies in. They can be used to store garden and shed tools  as well

It's a pity that the bins weren't designed for outdoors purposes, as they're such a great storage solution. If you just use them to dispose of your dry waste, it might not be important, but the lid isn't the best to have the bin locked, something that matters if you want to use them as storage bins or you're are moving houses.

BLOMNING Tin withLid (Off-white) (10x10x10 cm)

I love these boxes. They're so stylish and classy, and they look great inside my Raskog white trolley. They look great anywhere I've place them. They're e designed to store coffee, tea or spices, but I use them as storage boxes in my office/studio. Things I've put inside are, among others, Crayola crayons, Ikea spare parts (like those that you've left with after assembling a flat pack), used batteries, and push lamps. I love they're are lightweight and stackable, as save me space inside the trolley. . The lid locks hermetically but it's easy to get it up.

IKEA 365+ Stainless Steel Scoop set

I love these stainless steel scoops. I use the large scoop for garden purposes and the small one to measure pulses, grains, flour, rice and other dry edible goods. Easy to wash. Not the thickest steel but I wasn't expecting a professional quality scoop for the price.

KALLAX Shelving Unit, white, (146.5H, 76.5W x 39D cm)

This is a great looking, easy to assemble shelving unit that looks great anywhere and holds tons of stuff. I use some of the shelves to store things that I don't mind being visible, like nice folder files, or books, and others to insert cube boxes with stuff I want out of sight.  It looks clean and polished, once finished. I found that the panels are not that heavy, but sturdy the same. It can be used as sideboard as well, but, in my case, the  vertical position suits me more.

I dreaded assembling this unit on my own, as the leaflet recommends two people to do so. However, it was pretty easy to put it up as you assemble one panel at a time, so you start light. It's definitely heavy once it's fully assembled, but not that heavy that prevented me from moving it to the position I wanted it to on floorboards.

KLYNNON Handmade Bamboo Plant Pot (13Hx 12D cm)

This is a mostly decorative handmade bamboo weaved planter with a plastic insert. If you use it with a real plant, the insert will prevent any leakage into the outer shell. If you use it with an artificial plant, it will give it an air of reality. I love the rustic organic feeling of this pot and it goes great with any neutral and/or Scandy space.
 
Materials = Pot, bamboo and clear acrylic lacquer. Insert, PET plastic.
MIND =  Mostly for indoors use as bamboo needs of even cool dry environments.

LÄMPLIG Bamboo Chopping Board (53L x 46H x 1.8Th cm)

This is an amazing-quality large economic bamboo  chopping board that covers half of my office desk place.  That  big is! It's also heavy. I use it on my kitchen counter to chop up food. It could be used as a cheese and cold meat board in large gatherings, but I find it too heavy for my dining table, and also looks like chopping board not a food board! The board has a raised top that prevents food from spilling out. It also has a milled grove all around the surface to prevent food juices from spilling on to the worktop, but I find it annoying as crumbs get stuck there. The good thing is that I can easily turn it upside down and use the back, which has no grove and use the raised edge to nook onto my table's edge.
 
Care Instructions = Follow these instructions before the first use. Wipe clean with a mild soapy solution.  Wipe dry with a clean cloth. Should be treated with food approved oil now and then. Handwash only.

DVÄRGSLINKE Decorative Horse (13Hx12L cm)

I'm a sucker for black and white anything that have clean design lines that look expensive but are affordable and good quality. This fits the brief! Ain't specially into horse decor, but this an exception, but his Dala Horse is an exemption. This is a gorgeous item of decoration that fits well in spaces with minimalist decor and neutral palette as well as home offices. I really love it. 
 
Designer = IKEA of Sweden. 
Materials = Solid pine, Tinted clear polyurethane lacquer.

TRATTKAKTUS Cushion cover (50x50 cm)

This is an statement cushion cover that fits most Ikea cushion pads. The motifs are based on Sweden's folk imagery and palette. It's printed in vibrant neat colours and looks as good as in the photos. The Trattkaktus lifts up any space decorated in neutral colours, like my office. It 's a gorgeous accent. It's made of 100% cotton and the fabric has a nice canvas-like texture. I haven't washed it yet, so I cannot comment on that.

Care =  Machine wash, max 40°C, normal setting. Don't bleach, tumble dry or dry clean. Do not bleach or tumble dry. Iron max 150°C.

FÖRSÄSONG Cable Management Tray, white, (38W x 17H 11D cm)

This is a small mesh tray, made of good quality materials and solid placement pins, that you put on the side of your desk to organise your computer cables, adaptors and plugs. The tray comes with two Velcro fasteners for extra support. Although this is the tray's main use, you can use it to put some small plants or decorative elements or, I do as a stationary open drawer. I was using it o put my pens and pencils directly on it,  but they would often get out through and fall on the floor through the openings at both sides of the tray. This is because I had put many items inside; if just a four or so pens, there is no problem. At the moment, I use it to hold two small pouches with those pencils and pens.  This tray is economic, easy to install and remove, and the securing pins don't loosen.

HÅLLBAR Bin with lid (Light grey) (3 Litre)

This bin is the smaller in the Hallbar line and I find it extremely useful. It's made of very good quality plastic, and has a very pleasurable roundish design that I love. These boxes can stacked on othes of the same size or on bigger ones from the same line. It can  also be integrated into a kitchen drawer or cabinet.
 
It can be used as food scrap bin, but I mostly use it for storage. I have four of these under my kitchen sink  holding scourers, sponges, cleaning clothes and gloves, small garden tools, tealight candles, and used batteries among other items. They come with a white self-adhesive label for easy identification.
 
The lid needs to be put into position.First one has to slide right or left the "hinges", then close the link and press the lid hooks down onto the hinges. It's easy but, depending on the items, sometimes they're a bit tricky to position.

KVASTSPIREA Plant Pot (Indoors & Outdoors) (12 cm)

The Kvastspirea plant pot is really simple and elegant and looks great indoors and outdoors. I have one of these with an artificial plant and makes it look really stylish and more realistic. It is very light to carry from one place to another, as well. It can be used with real plants as long as the real plant is potted in a suitable pot and you use this to hold that pot. so it's mostly decorative.

KUGGIS Storage box with lid, white (32x32x32 cm)

I'm a fan of the Kuggis storage boxes line, of which I have many at home for different storage purpose.  However this is my least favourite. 
 
These square Kuggis cubes look simple and elegant and fit into the Kallax and Vihals cube storage units. They're also perfect to create a mobile unit when using the Invallning trolley, which I also own (as in the photo). They lid makes it perfect to stack, but not more of three rows are recommended. 
 
This is perfect to fill in with bulky items that aren't heavy. E.g. cushions, winter throws, travelling and decor items that aren't being used, small items of clothing, and so on. I tried to put box inside and one of them broke.  There is only one cut-out handle, so you cannot carry the boxes that easily.
 
Assemblage of the Ikea boxes I've bought in the past has been super easy, so I didn't expect this item to be different. The instructions are clear and simple to understand. The problem is that sliding the panels into each other and down isn't easy at all, as some of the knobs slide easily but not others. I find them these a pain in the rear, so I won't be buying them ever again.

INVALLNING Trolley (68x39x9 cm)

I have two of these  trolleys at home. This is a very practical storage solution to pile, store and move boxes with little effort. It is not only good-priced, but also made of good quality materials, sturdy, and easy to assemble. 
 
It's advertised as a fit for four boxes from the Kuggies, Pansarts, Drona and Dungergubbe box ranges. I hesitated to buy this trolley as the boxes I have on top aren't from any of these lines and are quite heavy. Buying this trolley was a great decision. The castors have a lock so you can leave it in place without the risk of sliding anywhere, and unlock it when I want to move it.  Even when I leave the castors unlocked, the trolley doesn't move on its own on my floorboards.
 
The only thing I miss is the trolley having a sort of "leash" to carry t he trolley from one room to another without having to bend my spine. Beyond that, it is a great buy.

FRAMTUNG Lunch Bag (22 cm L x 17cm W x 35 cm H )

I needed a new lunch bag, and I fancy this one so much that I purchased despite having the impression that would break easily due to the thin fabric. It is so stylish that I couldn't resist the temptation. 
 
Yes, it is pretty, but it holds my usual stuff without a problem. I usually carry a large solid food thermos (usually heavy), an piece of fruit, an small container with cookies or nuts, several serviettes and two small spoons. The bag has insulation, so it is perfect to prolong the heat of my thermos. I could put much more inside, as it is very spacious. It is also very light and easy to carry. I love the front mesh pocket, as I usually put my mobile there when carrying it or while having lunch. The bag is water-resistant, which makes it great for the occasional splash or leakage. Great price, as well!

UPPDATERA Boxes (White & Antracite) (33.5 cm W x 24 cm D x 14.5 cm H)

I love all the Uppdatera boxes due to the range of sizes and elegant functional design and colour. They're made of very good quality plastic (Kmart's imitation isn't half as good) with rounded edges, two handles (which make it easier to carry them) and lower front wall to facilitate access. I have two large size and two small ones both in anthracite and white colours. I use them to hold containers with painting brushes and tools, small tubes and bottles of paint and other craft tools. They hold ton tons of stuff, even the small sizes, and they are a great way to organise my desk in a way that is both stylish and practical. I love the fact that  I can repurpose these boxes for other uses in the bathroom, pantry or kitchen if needed. They clean easily from paint splashes, as well.

SATSUMAS Plant stand (78H cm)

This is a very easy to assemble plant shelf. It's great  to hold small and medium-size plants, photos, pictures and decor items. I have a mix of them all and it looks fab. Due to its triangular different levels shape, it's perfect for corner areas. I love the Scandy traditional bamboo and white metal combo. The bamboo is solid but the piece isn't heavy at all. Not a cheap plant stand, but it's good quality and really great design.

LOMVIKEN Frame (black) (32x32 cm)

I love the LOMVIKEN frames series. This minimalist frame looks very elegant, and it looks way more expensive that it is. The acid-free warm white passepartout (mount) mixed with the matte black fine frame are a very elegant combo. Like other Ikea frames, the glass is actually glass-looking clear plastic. It looks totally translucent, but it won't break if it falls down or you move houses. 
 
This size is the only square in the line. Depending on whether you use the passepartout or not, you can fit in larger or smaller pictures. This size can be mixed and matched with the other sizes and formats to create a wall mural or gallery. 
 
The back wall mount is also included. I miss this line lacking a stand support at the back, like other Ikea frame lines have, which would have made it more versatile. 
 
Very easy to assemble.

ÄDELSTEN Marble Pestle and Mortar (10 H x 14 Dia cm)

This is a marble mortar and pestle. The pestle has two sides (one flat and one rounded), which I alternate depending on what I'm crushing. The mortar also has two surfaces, the hollow one, and the one on the base, which is is a bit concave and perfect for dry spices. 
 
I forgot to wash it the first time I used it, and the black surface shed some black 'dust'. Ain't sure whether the black colour is that of the marble or something added on, so I would have liked this being clearly stated. 
 
The set is heavy, at least for me, so I would not put it on a feeble surface. I think this might have been compensated if the based had been made of solid timber or bamboo.

KLYNNON Handmade Bamboo Plant Pot (12 cm)

This is a simply beautiful bamboo pot that goes great with Skandi decor. It is very light, so it doesn't add any weight to the pot I use it with. It comes with a plastic low container (saucer kinda), which prevents any leaked water from affecting the bamboo. I use it with one of my artificial plants, and it looks fabulous. The different sizes of the pot have different waving patterns, something I love, as I intend to buy them. Indoors only.
