ROCK POW 60% Mechanical PC Gaming Keyboard

I was craving one of these keyboards, the noisy ones, the ones that have cushioning and you actually click on the keys. This seemed perfect for my current needs, a small keyboard that I can plug to my laptop and carry or store easily. The colour combination is elegant and modern, and helps locating different kind of keys easily. And it's so pretty! This keyboard plugs and plays into my laptop via the provided doubled USB cable easily. 

 

The keyboard, despite what other reviewers say, is well built, it's sturdy, and looks and feels expensive. It comes with three complimentary replacement blue axis and tweezers. 

 

MAIN DOWNSIDES

 > Instruction leaflet is minimal and has no instructions.

> Backlight cannot be switched off. It becomes distracting at times. If it can be put off it wasn't clear to me how.  

>  There isn't direct keys for arrows down/up left/right or delete, which I use all the time. The laptop is designed mostly for gaming and it shows. As I wanted it for work, it was not convenient or intuitive enough.

> If the power supply to my laptop is deficient, which happens sometimes and I only notice because there a flicking light on the laptop side,  the keyboard backlight will start flicking and it's most annoying.

Dell Wired Multimedia Keyboard, Black, 580-AHHG

I bought this in an emergency as part of my laptop keyboard stopped working. This is a great keyboard, lightweight, spacious and very pleasant to type on. I love it's wired as saves me from using batteries and the long cable allows me to position the board as far from my laptop as I want. Plug and use, no need to install anything. Drivers will self-install in a minute.  The board has a spacious layout and very pleasant soft keys, with all the functions that you expect from a complete work keyboard. Amazing value for money. 

UPDATE 3/5/24

I am still happy with this keyboard, but one of the keys started to malfunction and get stuck a few weeks after started using it. Gladly is just one of the numbers in the number keyboard, but I still can use it on the row above the main board area.
