Kaspersky Premium Total Security 2025 (3-Device, 1 Year) [Digital Download]

I bought this at a bargain price on Amazon last year. Kaspersky Premium has always been in the top 5 in most tech magazine lists of best antivirus, so I was elated to find this at that price. After downloading the product on my computer, I went to download the app on Google Play and couldn't find it. This is because the company is among many other Russian tech companies banned world-wide after the war started. That's why you don't find reviews about the 2025 product anywhere and you have to download the app for other sources that aren't Google Play. It was too late for me to return the product, so I decided to continue with it.

The antivirus runs well, without consuming much energy on my computer and laptop. It is not invasive, something that I appreciate, especially in my phone. It comes with a free VPN quota per day, which is too small to do anything, to be honest. Other antivirus brands come with higher quotas or free VPN.  At the same time, due to the price and to the fact that I rarely use VPN (as it interferes with the functionality of some of my browsers and programs), that is OK with me.

I don't allow Kaspersky to access my pay details or save my passwords, just in case. I won't buy it again if the war continues. On the other hand, other products do the same and are in countries supporting other wars (American companies, for example).

McAfee Total Protection 3 Devices

I've tried most antivirus protection software out there, and McAfee Total Protection is my favourite due to the seamless unnoticeable working in the background and the many features it comes packed with, VPN included.  I don't always buy it because it can be pricey, but I bought this kit in one of the Prime glorious days at nearly half price.

The product was sent from UK, so when I tried to activate the card I found the following, "This product is available for several regions", and then a drop-down menu with UK and Ireland as the only two options. I panicked for a sec thinking that it might be valid just in those countries, but it is not. I clicked "continue" and the process of activation was super easy and superfast. Installation on my household mobiles was also easy breezy.

McAFee has been in the antivirus market for a long time, but, unlike Norton, has learned how to evolve, improve and make things easier, including an excellent VPN service at no extra cost, offering value for money with the VPN being really good.

The main downside is the fact that soon after you are happy that you aren't getting any self-promo within the program, they;ll start popping up prompting you to upgrade and pay extra for device tuning services or extra features that are not really cheap. However, I paid little for this software and it does a great job.
