USTIYA Clear TPU Four Corners Protective Case for Oppo A38 & A18

Nothing fancy about this case, just a silicone clear 'glove' that fits perfectly my Oppo A18. I love this clear case as it not only economic but it really protects the phone without masking its original features. The protruding corners are really great and improve handling and secure grip, preventing the phone from slipping off. So far, so good.

KIYOSAKI Gooseneck Phone & Tablet Holder,

This was, beforehand, what I was looking for to use my phone in bed at night as I've noticed that my hands and fingers get sore. The deal price was an incentive. I had read the reviews before purchase, so I knew that the 'cable' was sturdy and hard to maneuver, but it's way harder that expected and I had difficulty moving it around without making an effort. Inserting the ball into the holder head piece was also very difficult for me.

The  product comes with minimal packaging and no instructions, and looks like a generic product. Nothing wrong with that!, but the lack of instruction leaflet makes  it unnecessarily difficult to set it up. In fact, the holder is easy to set up if you know what to do. Basically, you hold the clip on to you furniture and, to fasten it and/or adjust to the thickness of the edge you're attaching it to, you have to screw/unscrew the tubular body part (see my photo). The holder looks very small, but the lower edge is expandable, so you can adjust it to fit a quite large phablet like mine (see my photo). If used horizontally, I can easily fit a tablet.

I ended returning the product due to the fact that the holding clip is quite wide and cannot hold my narrow bedside table edge, so it falls off. So, my advise to you is to check the depth of your furniture edges before purchase.

Phone House Mesones (Granada, Spain)

   Spain

   Website

   Hours
      Mon-Sat 10:00-21:00
      Selected Sundays

Phone House is a Spanish franchise chain (part of an International Company) that sells mobiles, mobile accessories and mobile internet and has also a repairs service. They usually have seasonal catalogues and the variety of mobile phones, mobile brands, mobile carriers and mobile and-or Internet plans, and pricing are unmatchable in Spain.

So, what makes this shop different from the others?  Many things!

+ Location location. This branch is located at the beginning of Calle Mesones, five steps away from Puerta Real and five minutes from anywhere in the city centre.
+ The staff really knows their stuff. They are not just selling or repeating like lorikeets. They can advise you properly on anything you need according to your own needs. I received unbiased advice from one of the guys. I was most impressed, and I got what I needed at the price I needed.
+ The staff will give the attention and time you need, no matter is five minutes or twenty, so you get your problem solved or your phone purchased and ready to use.
+ The staff would help you dealing with little faults in your phone, if you purchased it from them, and help you with settings and things like that, or safety measures not to get your super-duper smart phone stolen!
+ There is an in-house mobile technician at this branch, which works full time a few days a week, so he will be able to sort out many of the issues you have with your phone, for free, unless you need a spare part and your phone has run out the warranty.
+ The staff were always friendly and lovely to me!

The not so good things:
= Waiting 20 minutes or 10 in a cue is never acceptable, especially because they could easy install another desk and have an extra staff member to attend to the public.  Also, why not having cueing by numbers or waiting stools?
= Their selection of mobile accessories is poor, pricey and a bit boring!

TIP
Best time to visit at Spanish lunch time. Everybody is eating, cues are minimal, and service way faster.

Fone Ezy (Perth WA)

Hours:
    Mon-Sat 9:00 - 18:00
   Sun 12:00 - 18:00

Phone Ezy in Picadilly Arcade is the cheapest shop for mobile repairs, and mobile and USB modem unlocking in the CBD. They also sell a few prepaid mobile combos, nothing fancy but modern, convenient and decently priced. They have a small selection of mobile accessories, but it is limited and pricey.

The service has always been OK, matter of fact, but efficient and reliable. I go there mostly for unlocking and repairs, and the guys have always been clear regarding their service, timing and pricing; if they can't do something, they will tell you straight away. If you go a peak times, you will certainly will be asked to leave your device with them and return later. The cues are here, and not in other places at 100 or 200 metres, for a reason.

Repairs start from 30$ and unlocks from 20$.

Best time to visit is early hours of the morning, otherwise the cues can be long and the waiting time ditto.

If you want fancy phones, go elsewhere.
