I'm very pleased with this part of head torches. They work with regular AAA batteries, which is great when you have blackouts or emergency situations. The head light is also great to go out to my backyard at night when I have to do something or take the rubbish out in the night and I cannot carry a hand torch. The elastic band is really soft and adjustable, so it stays in place easily without pressing to much or leaving a mark. It has six different light moods, three on each button and it is waterproof. I would not personally wear this when it's raining heavily, but when it's drizzling. Also, a perfect travel tool, especially if you're camping, hiking or just to read or see below your seat on long-distance flights.
The battery compartment is located behind the bulb and this is the torch's weakest link as I find difficult to close it properly or open it easily. A person with larger and stronger hands might not have this issue, though.
Pricing was terrific for two items. I have one in use and another saved in my emergency kit. I haven't had these torches long enough to comment on durability or whether they consume battery when off or how long the battery lasts if you keep them non stop. I will annotate this review if I needed to make further remarks on the product.
