This
is a good masking tape for the price. I mostly use it to frame paper
sheets when painting. Easy to stick, lift and reposition. The only
downside for me is that the colour is so similar to the painting paper
colour that I sometimes cannot distinguish the edges.
UPDATE 7/6/22
I've
been using this tape for several months and my experience is that,
beyond what I said initially, it ruins my watercolour paper, as this
isn't low tack. This especially happens when I have the tape on for more
than a couple of hours. I tend to heat the tape before removing it, so
that the glue softens, but, even then, the watercolour paper I use (180
mgs or 200 mgs) gets damaged. In all honesty, that's the same experience
I have with more expensive brands, so in that regard is as good as any
major brand, but not good enough for my needs. I won't purchase it
again.
I'm a bit disappointed with the quality of this ruler. I bought this one because I own a couple of plastic rulers and I needed something steadier and with some grip to draw lines with ink pens and paintings, so this seemed ideal. The steel is good, but also feeble and wobbly, not strong enough. This being the case, the ruler is not steady enough. Also, for whatever reason, the lines don't come up clean. It doesn't help that the cork at the base has some edge, as it doesn't cover the full ruler belly and I think contributes to the wobbliness. It would not use this with paints or ink pens, just to measure or use with pencil.
I
have been using this product for several years now, and it does wonders
for my eyebrows. The tinting lasts for several weeks, and it looks like
the tint I used to have done at a salon before I started using this
kit. This is so because the results look natural and polished and it
doesn't tint my skin at all. The kit comes with everything you need, so
you don't need any extra tool or container to develop and use the
product. I sometimes use the product to tint the grey hairs around my
temples.
I have sensitive skin but I have never had any problem with this product.
I have never used this for tinting my eyelashes, so I cannot comment on that.
SO-SO
1/
They seem to have changed the formula recently and the colouring
doesn't last as much on my eyebrows and it is not as saturated as it
used to be.
2/ The quantity of accelerator and tinting cream is not
balanced, so I usually finish the tube with the colouring and the
developing liquid bottle is still half full.
MIND
Allow extra time if you have some grey hairs.
I love this soft brush pen. It's extremely pleasurable to use, and the results on paper are what you can expect from a quality brush pen minus the mess I get from other brush pens on the same price range. I love the tiny Kanji plastic template included in the package. Mind: The instructions and labelling are all in Japanese.
This is a very good quality beautiful easy to clean geometric ruler that I use mostly to draw lines and shapes when painting or scrap-booking. I love the fact that I can use it a ruler, as a protractor, to create circles, triangles and other geometric shapes. Easy to clean even when I use it with Indian ink. It comes in a handy plastic pouch and instructions leaflet. Unfortunately, everything is written in Chinese.
Beautifully detailed, this stamp is made of clear silicone and in a sort of bass-relief way so the image comes off quite polished and defined. Super easy to wash even if used with solvent ink.
This is a decent quality notepad for drawing with pencils, charcoal and pastels. Not good for gouache, tempera or watercolor as it bleeds, and you'd need to apply gesso for a sheet to hold any water or ink painting. Paper not good either for permanent ink makers; a normal sharpie ink would go through. I wanted this for doodles and to try stuff before using my good quality pad, so that's OK, but this is not a paper I would use with any water or permanent ink medium. Elastic strap came out of one of the holes. Good quality cover and back.
Good value for money. Easy to hook to my bras and stays in place without a problem. Comfortable to wear, I don't feel I'm wearing an extender. Mind: the upper part comes bent and stapled with a in invisible plastic staple, perhaps to have it fit it in the package, so you have to remove it to properly use it.
This is a small pocket pad (see my photo beside my A5 journal), with 20 sheets of glorious watercolor paper. However, the way the pad has been assembled is dreadful. The edges are tightly silicone-glued together. The pad comes with a free beautiful feather opener to separate the sheets; however, this one is quite thick, so not really fit for the tightness of the glued edges, so much so that separating the sheets proved difficult and some of the edges were damaged in the process. I don't really see the need of this. Otherwise, as I've said, great watercolor paper and really portable pad.
Beautifully detailed, this stencil is easy to use and can be used with an array of art mediums (gouache, watercolor and ink.) This stamp is made of clear silicone, bass-relieved, so the end result is quite polished. Easy to clean even when used with solvent ink.
This is a relatively small stencil (see photo by my pocket diary) with different sizes of circles. Flexible decent quality plastic and easy to wash if used with different kinds of painting.I use it all the time is really good.
This is a very pretty folding ruler that can be put away easily and looks good if on display. The multi-leveled texture allows me to draw different lines without moving the ruler. On the other hand, the ruler is not steady, so it tends to move easily, so your lines might be broken. Average quality. I think this is great for kids. The price reflects the quality.
I was mesmerised by the photos of this scrapbook paper. My expectations were crushed upon receiving the item. The images, as per the photos on Amazon, look spectacular, but the reality is that this paper sheets are beautiful but also amateurish. It looks like somebody has created some multi-layered photos together and printed them for sale. Nothing wrong with that, except for the fact that quality of printing is really amateurish, no clarity or definition, which is especially clear on the handwritten pages. If you do Photoshop backgrounds and have a good printer, you can get the same images on your own with better quality. My photos look better than the real thing
Beautiful collection of adhesive stickers that look elegant and fanciful. The set has plenty of ferns, plants with flowers, plants with fruit, and some extra animals. Great quality printing and definition. My only 'buts' are that adhesive base is difficult to lift up and that some of the stickers are very delicate and tear apart easily. The stickers transparent part don't camouflage well on gesso-prepared paper as per my photo.
I actually did the test after shaving my armpits, and this deodorant didn't itch or burn at all. So, it's perfect for sensitive skin. I had problems with other invisible Nivea clear deodorants in the past as, when I use them in summer, I get my armpits irritated, itchy and dark-skinned. But this one, so far, so good. The deodorant doesn't leave any marks on my clothes. The scent is very subtle and won't clash with any perfume or smell after application. Like with any other antiperspirant deodorant I use, this does remove the bad odour but I still perspire a bit.
This is a good quality body scrub, luxurious and feminine.
THE GOOD
>
The texture is wonderful: not abrasive, it leaves my skin feeling moisturized, supple, fresh and feeling extra clean and soft.
> Lovely feminine scent, a variation of the traditional marshmallow fragrance minus the lemon and orange top notes.
> Packaging is beautiful, elegant and regal, if you want.
> Good amount of product in the jar.
> Value for money.
SO-SO
The
scrub it has a bit of sandy dry, despite the oils it is mixed with, the
result is that when you pick up a dollop, bits and pieces fall as lumps
on the floor. This is also the reason why it doesn't spread as well and
evenly as other good-quality scrubs.
> The scent is certainly
lovely, but also classic, not contemporary if you know what I mean, and a
big pervasive, so it can clash with my perfume. It gets better when the
scent settles, though.
As described, this is a bra extender. It does the job and allows me to use the bra when I have put a bit on weight and the original straps are too tight. Mind, the upper part comes bent and stapled with an invisible plastic staple, perhaps to have it fit it in the package, so you have to remove the staple to use it. I say this, because it's barely noticeable. Easy to hook and comfortable to use. Great value for money.
THE GOOD
> The package is really elegant, well presented and organized.
>
The set contains 72 colored pencils plus a complimentary brush, with
enough diversity of colors to do coloring and work on shadows and
mid-tones.
> OK as coloring pencils.
> The tiny coloring Fantasy Dream is really beautiful.
> Good priced for the amount of colors you get.
THE NOT SO GOOD
>
These are watercolor pencils, but once you apply water, the color is
barely there. I expected, for sure, the color to dilute and be less
vibrant once it becomes watercolor, but the dilution of the color was
dramatic, like the pigment doesn't hold much with the water because the
pigment is not good.
> The brush doesn't help much with the water-coloring, as the color didn't spread well, the bristles hold too
much water and there aren't enough bristles in it for the water to be
more evenly distributed.
> Color chart on the box doesn't match
the pencil colors in the box. Also, there are discrepancies in the
numbering on the pencils, with some of the numbers missing or just
wrongly numbered.
> The color trays arrived with the colors all
mixed up as per my photo, not color organized, so I had to spend an
hour organizing the pencils properly.
> Bad quality pencil body and lead that break and bristle easily, like just getting the pencil out of the grip.
>
The holding tray is made of plastic, and the grips where the pencils
are held, tend not to be stable, so once I get one out, others pop up on
their own.
OVERALL
This is a good set for just coloring, not
so much if you want professional watercolor pencils. Quality of the
pencils overall is average and they're easily breakable.
