I had one of those square pen holders that are so trendy now, but it takes a lot of space on my desk and the pens come off easily. This being the case, I decided to give this holder a try. I wasn't really sure if this would save me space, rotate smoothly or hold all my stuff. I am very impressed with this little holder. It takes half of the space than the other pen holder, it rotates beautifully and holds tons of stuff. This is plastic, but good quality one. The cream colour makes it fit in with any decor, especially skandy and minimalist spaces like my study. I'm in love with this.

Deli Soft Oil Pastels Set of 48 Standard Assorted Colors
This is a great set of oil pastels for beginners. It's really cheap, the quality is excellent for the price, like better than expected, and the selection of colours is terrific as the package contains a mix of primary, secondary and pastel colours. Easy to use and spread, although not as spreadable as good quality ones. On the other hand, I wish these ones have points, a la crayons, to make use easier while drawing lines or filling in corners or narrow spaces. I love this set.
Kaisercraft Butterflies Texture Clear Stamp
This clear stamp is just lovely. It has three separate butterflies, meaning it is not a block with three items, but individual items. If you use a stamp block, the results are amazing. Great quality and it washes beautifully under fresh clear water. My only downside is that the butterflies are quite small and that the back sheet is a bit hard to separate from the stamp resin. Amazing quality for the price, as well.
PROKIT RG2902 Masking Tape (25mtr x 36mm)
Nothing fancy about this masking tape, but it does the job for a fraction of the price of a major brand. I use it mostly for pre framing painting sheets and is easy to stick and reposition. I tend to paint over the masking tape and it does not bleed through, but if I'm using spray painting, it would go under the tape, and the same if I the acrylics are liquid. My main concern is that it peels off the paper when removing it. I use thick watercolour paper, so it's not the paper, it's the tape sticking glue. I'd love if they made it in another colour or a bit darker as this one is the same colour as the watercolour paper I use and it's difficult to distinguish the edges.
FolkArt Acrylic Paint 18-colour Set (2-Ounce)
THINGS I LIKE
> The colours are beautiful and varied. Primary and secondary included. There is one pastel included, the Baby Pink, and it is just so pretty.
> They're gouache-like, so you can use the pigment straight from the bottle or dilute it with water.
> Good overall quality.
> Quantity in each bottle is considerable.
> The bottles have a sticker on the cap top showing the colour, which comes super handy when you have a lot of bottles and want to choose the colour rapidly.
> Very good value for money, especially because if you were buying individual bottles/colours you'd be paying almost double the price.
THINGS THAT CAN BE IMPROVED
> The selection of blues. I missed a navy or dark blue. The two blues provided are too close in hue.
> Ditto the browns.
> Ditto the yellows.
YUBX Gold Washi Tape Spring 12-piece Set 15mm Wide
Very pretty varied selection of floral and geometric tape rolls. They're easy to tear off and position. The set comes with a handy plastic ruler-like. These are very narrow rolls, which is OK if you want to decorate any small item (see a sample of the tapes used on my phone case) or use it as a framing marquee for a collage or artwork. However, quantity in each roll is minimum, the white ones are quite translucent and the quality is average overall. I still love them but they are quite pricey for the quality.
Tim Holtz Idea-ology Ephemera Pack, Multicolor, 63 Count
This is a good selection of ephemera cutouts. The paper and printing quality is excellent. These pack contains a mix of entry tickets, adds, prescriptions, isolated words and signs, bingo tickets, B&W photos, bingo tickets, mini book covers, etc. They all have a vintage (50s mostly) colours and style. I love the fact that they are thick enough to allow the use of pigments and distress inks on them to enhance the vintage look without the paper stock getting ruined.
On the flip side, some of the items in this pack can also be found in another ephemera packs by the same brand. Besides, the card stock is a tiny bit too thick for my liking and, in all honesty, I find the price a bit high for what this is.
